Erika reached out to me in a bit of a bind, looking for help with “errors” on her existing site. Once we spoke and I heard how she was very much ‘stuck’ in her business, frustrated and was feeling like a slave to her website, I quickly suggested we move her to a whole new platform.

I recommended to Erika that if she:

• felt she needed a change and craved simplicity

• was tired of wasting time having plugins updated or contacting her marketing agency for every little update

• wanted minimum barriers standing between her and hitting that publish button

Her best option was moving the site.

And after some discussions and Erika exploring her options, she agreed and we started the move.

Together, we decided to tweaked a few things aesthetically, but repurposed much of her existing content.

Given the switch over is still very fresh, I haven’t had much real time feedback on her managing the site yet. But I am confident that this redesign will allow Erika the freedom of being able to manage her own site, make minor changes without being charged to do so and ultimately put more focus on her work, as opposed to being frustrated with all that was happening with her old website.
