BRANDING AND WEB DESIGN FOR A LONDON ONTARIO PHOTOGRAPHER

Natalie Rose is a London, Ontario, based wedding and family photographer that specializes in wedding, engagement, lifestyle and maternity photography.

Natalie originally reached out to me looking for help with simple website updates to her current site. In those early discussions we talked about the competitive nature of the photography landscape in London, ON, and how we could potentially improve her local search results.

Ultimately, after many discussions, we decided that repositioning herself in the marketplace was Natalie’s best course of action. This involved a full rebranding exercise with a goal of giving her a new visual identity. We began with my project worksheet, which helped me understand more about Natalie’s business, what was working, what wasn’t working and the vision she had moving forward. From there, I began the design process which included a stylescape, multiple logo concepts, typography and suggested marketing collateral. Afterwards, we jumped into planning a new website.

By the end, the result was a full identity system that was both modern, but not too in your face or aggressive. The new site acts a the backbone of her business and fully showcases Natalie’s photography.
