Karri is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in London, Ontario. Her focus is women’s health and leading them to be empowered and ditch diet culture to focus on nourishing their bodies. After being a life long dieter and struggling with disordered eating herself, Karri now helps others work towards self acceptance with a focus on nourished living over body size.
When I first spoke to Karri about her needs, I was floored by her authenticity. Her passion to help others overcome the negativity associated with diet culture and emotional eating inspired me to help create a brand that others can connect with: ‘You’re not alone, I can help - I’ve been there’.

CLEANER AND MORE VERSATILE.
With Karri’s input, my aim was to help her completely change her existing brand. We built around the theme of transformation and personal growth, using the idea of a butterfly as part of the design. We went through many iterations of butterflies as part of early concepts, before landing at the right spot.
BRANDING + LOGO DESIGN
NEXT, WE MOVED ONTO A WEBSITE REDESIGN.
We began with a sitemap to address the organization of information and what was currently missing from her old site. We aimed to reorder the content, so things were easier to find and in a more logical place. This required copy changes and updates, as well as writing new copy to account for the new hierarchy and additions. We restructured the navigation to make clear paths to find content for users. And finally, we moved into visual design - making it all come together beautifully.
