10EIGHTEEN

WEB DESIGN FOR A LONDON ONTARIO COFFEE SHOP

Katie originally connected with me about designing some posters for the outside of her building. But, recently as COVID-19 pandemic restrictions were set in place, she encountered a bit of a business challenge that she needed help with. 10Eighteen was forced, like many businesses, to closed it doors except for take-out orders. This was a big change and a shift in the way her establishment operates. Katie was thinking on her feet and decided that she would offer a full Grab-And-Go menu by per-order. Soon, she realized that take orders, explaining the menu and juggling the activities in her shop was all a bit overwhelming.

So, after some discussion, we decided that we would pull together a temporary website with a basic order form to consolidate where orders were coming from and where they were being sent and stored.

After a short time, I followed up with Katie and in our discussions we decided that a full fledged e-commerce store was probably the best way to based on a variety of factors.

Given the uncertainty of restaurants and the hospitality industry, I am super glad I was able to jump in and quickly help streamline things for Katie.
